EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) A day after the Dale Varsho and the Express had his 500th victory taken away post game for a pitching rules violation, Varsho captured his 500th Thursday night in Waterloo.

The Express battled back from a 6-1 deficit to win 10-9.

Varsho has been the Express manager since they came into the Northwoods League in 2005. He is the longest tenured and winningest manager in the league's history.

Overall, Varsho is 500-502 in his managerial career with the Express.

The win brought Eau Claire's record to 12-13 in 2019 and keeps them in the hunt for the Great Plains East Division first half title.
