Blugolds' Hoeppner earns First Team All-Region honors

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – Hallee Hoeppner (Jr. – Winona, MN) of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's basketball team has earned D3hoops.com First Team All-Central Region honors.

Hoeppner, the WIAC Player of the Year, led the WIAC in scoring averaging 18.3 point per game, finished third in rebounds (7.8 per game) and second in minutes played. The junior also finished sixth in field goal (48 percent) and 3-point percentage (35 percent). Hoeppner recorded six double-doubles and two 30+ point games along with being named WIAC Player of Week three times.

Players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region team are eligible for All-American selection. The women's All-America team will be announced at the Division III women's championships.

This is the 18th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 22nd annual All-American selections.
