EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) Despite falling behind 14-0 to start their game with Carleton, the UW-Eau Claire women's basketball got a career-high 31-points from Hallee Hoeppner to win 75-54.
After being outscored 26-13 in the first quarter, the Blugolds outscored the Knights 26-12 in the second quarter to take a 39-38 lead at the half.
The Blugolds dominated in the second half, holding Carleton to just 16 total points.
Hoeppner's performance moves her season average to over 20-points a game, more that double her average last year.
Brooke Harris had 14-points and Elle Clayton added 11-points in the victory.
UW-Eau Claire is back in action on Saturday when they host St. Catherine.
