Chi Hi alum Jordan Steinmetz to play college hockey at St. Lawrence

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) Jordan Steinmetz, who currently plays for the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL and was standout at Chippewa Falls announced he will play his college hockey at Division 1 St. Lawrence.

During his time at Chi Hi, Steinmetz had 171 points in 96 games, including 89 goals.

Last year he played junior hockey in the NAHL with the Janesville Jets before making the jump to the USHL this season at Sioux City. He has 4 goals and 5 assists in 24 games.

He isn't the first Big Rivers standout to play at St. Lawrence. Eau Claire Memorial's Alexander Dahl played there from 2013-17.
