GREEN BAY, Wis. (WEAU) After ten seasons with the Packers, it looks like Clay Matthews is headed to the Rams.
Matthews took to twitter and posted a new profile picture of him in a Los Angeles Rams jersey.
Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network is reporting that Matthews will get a two-year deal worth $16.75 million.
Clay Matthews was drafted the Packers in the first round of the 2009 draft. In his ten seasons in Green Bay, he totaled a franchise best 83.5 sacks. He also had 6 interceptions and two touchdowns. He is a six time Pro Bowl selection.
Last year he played all 16 games for the Packers, recording a career low 3.5 sacks.
He joins Randall Cobb, who signed with the Dallas Cowboys, as Packers free agents to switch teams on Tuesday.
