North Volleyball Coach, Perris Cooley retires after 26 years

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Longtime Eau Claire North volleyball, Perris Cooley, is retiring from the program after over 25 years with the team.

The following provide a look at several the program’s accomplishments, led by Coach Cooley. The Huskies had 3 trips to state in 2005 (1st BRC Volleyball Team to ever qualify for state), 2010, and 2011. North won 20 regional championships and appeared in 13 sectional finals. The Huskies were Big Rivers Conference champs 8 times. Under Coach Cooley, beginning in 1995, Eau Claire North never had a losing season! (Overall record is 681 – 215 – 23). Coach Cooley’s career winning percentage was .741.

Coach Cooley’s efforts, along with his assistant coaches, players, and families have made a long and positive impact here at North High School. We wish Coach the best in his future endeavors.

Eau Claire North will now begin the search for a new Volleyball coach for the 2019 season.
