Stow's four goals lead ECA Stars to State Semifinal victory

MADISON, WI (WEAU) A day after being named the states best girls hockey player, ECA Stars Abigail Stow showed why she earned the honor, scoring four goals in the Stars semifinal win over the Central Wisconsin Storm.

Stow got the scoring started in the first period when she went the length of the ice to get her first tally. She then followed it up with a deflection for her second goal.

Central Wisconsin scored late in the first period to cut the lead to 2-1.

In the second period Stow once again took control, scoring two more times to get her "hat trick" plus one. The Stars went on to get the win 5-2. Madison Schwengler getting the Stars final goal.

ECA Stars, playing in their first state tournament now will look to leave Madison with their first state title on Saturday. They will face the Sun Prairie Co-op 12:10 p.m.
