UW-Eau Claire women's hockey team earns NCAA tournament bid


After winning their first WIAC women's hockey championship in a thrilling double-OT game on Saturday over UW-River Falls, the Blugolds earned an al large bid to the NCAA tournament where they will face Gustavus Adolphus.

The Blugolds will travel to Gustavus Adolphus on March 9th in what is essentially a play in game. The winner will face Hamline the next night on Saturday, March 10th.

The WIAC Champion UW-Eau Claire squad is 18-6-4 on the season and will be making their first ever appearance in the NCAA tournament.
