Girls on the Run hosts Health Night

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) Dozens of families from the area made their way to the Clarion Hotel Monday in Eau Claire to learn more about the importance of healthy living.

"Girls on the Run" held a family health night to teach local families ways to stay in shape and eat well.

People at the meeting learned about Zumba and yoga and took part in a silent auction benefiting Girls on the Run, a national character development program for girls in 3rd through 5th grade.

Its mission is to inspire young girls to be healthy and confident.
