NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Three people accused of having a meth lab in a hotel room are now charged.

Recently, prosecutors filed criminal charges against Edwin Bedell Jr., 42, of Osseo, Alexandria Campbell, 18, of Neillsville, and Tayah Bedell, 18, of Osseo.

Last month, Clark County sheriff's deputies responded to the Humbird Hotel & Bar on King St. in Humbird a report of a meth lab in one of the rooms. Witnesses said the people in the room were throwing things out of the window.

A complaint says Campbell is the girlfriend of Edwin Bedell Jr., and Tayah Bedell is his daughter. It went on to say that all three told investigators nothing was going on and the landlord was overreacting. They denied making meth. Investigators say a substance on a coffee filter near the room tested positive for meth. They served a search warrant in the room, and found meth, marijuana and a semi-automatic handgun.

Campbell and Edwin Bedell Jr. are due in court next month. Court records show an arrest warrant was issued on Friday for Tayah Bedell.
