Dodge Co. 19-year-old man seriously hurt after crash with tractor hauling equipment
TOWN OF HUBBARD, Wis. (WMTV) - A 19-year-old man was seriously hurt in a crash Friday night with a tractor.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involving a 2011 Subaru passenger car happened at 8:53 p.m. on State Road 33.
The car was going eastbound when it crashed with the 24-foot folded disk implement being towed by a Massey Ferguson tractor traveling in front of the car.
The implement was sent to the south side shoulder of the road, the tractor crossed the westbound lane of traffic then stopped on the north shoulder of the road due to the crash, according to authorities.
The 19-year-old driver of the car was extricated then taken to the Marshfield Medical Clinic in Beaver Dam. His injuries are serious and non-life threatening.
The 64-year-old man operating the tractor was released at the scene after suffering minor injuries.
Responding crews included City of Horicon EMS, Village of Iron Ridge Fire and First Responders, Hustisford Fire, Neosho Fire and Lifestar Ambulance Service.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
