12-year-old girl dies after being pulled from inflatable pool

PEORIA, Ariz. (KPHO/Gray News) - A young girl in Arizona has died after being pulled from an inflatable pool earlier this week.
Peoria fire officials say first responders were called to a home near 75th and Peoria avenues around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities said crews arrived at the home and found a 12-year-old girl who had been submerged in an above-ground inflatable pool.
She was rushed to the hospital, but died hours later. Police said the girl had a disability, but were not sure to what extent.
It’s unclear how long she was in the water. Police said no charges have been recommended against the parents.
Officials did not release any further information.
