Groundbreaking Ceremony held for rehabilitation hospital in Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - A groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new rehabilitation hospital in Eau Claire Thursday.

ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital will be located on Bullis Farm Road. The hospital will have 36 beds and is expected to provide care for about 650 patients annually.

Patients will be able to get specialized care for disabling injuries or illnesses including strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other medically-complex conditions.

The hospital is expected to create about 100 new healthcare jobs for the area with its opening planned for late 2026.
