Retired teachers of the Alpha Delta Kappa Nu Chapter and the Committee for Babies and Books

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - The Mayo Clinic Pediatric Department would like to nominate the retired teachers of the Alpha Delta Kappa Nu Chapter and the committee for Babies and Books for a Sunshine Award in recognition of their years of generosity and commitment to children in our community. For many years, these dedicated educators have donated books for every 1-year-old patient seen in the Mayo Clinic Pediatrics Department. Their kindness helps place books directly into the hands of young children, encouraging early literacy, a love of reading, and meaningful moments between children and their families. Although they are retired from the classroom, they continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of countless children. Their ongoing generosity exemplifies the spirit of community service and is truly worthy of recognition.
